First In Families of North Carolina (FIFNC)

First In Families of North Carolina helps people with disabilities and their families to believe in their dreams, achieve their goals and give back to others. - Technical Assistance to FIF Chapters FIF Chapters provide direct family support to people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and/or Traumatic Brain Injuries and their families. FIF Chapters partner with local communities and businesses to respond to requests from individuals and families to enhance their ability to live and thrive in the community. FIFNC has 13 chapters across the state of North Carolina that cover 47 counties. FIFNC also offers assistance to families in the other 53 NC counties through the Lifeline Project.
