FOKUS- Forum for Women and Development

FOKUS - Forum for Women and Development Issues - works to strengthen womens rights and opportunities through program work in seven countries in Africa and Latin America, as well as through political advocacy work in Norway and internationally. FOKUS is an umbrella organization with 48 member organizations in Norway and is the only Norwegian organization that works exclusively with womens rights and gender equality internationally. The umbrella organization was founded in 1995 and functions as a competence and resource centre.
