Fondazione Sozzani

The Fondazione Sozzani was established in 2016 by Carla Sozzani and is dedicated to the promotion of culture through photography, the fine arts, and applied arts and fashion. The Foundation has assumed the patronage of Galleria Carla Sozzani and continues all relevant public functions that the Galleria has supported for the past 30 years. Galleria Carla Sozzani was founded in 1990 in Milano by Carla Sozzani and over the course of the years, has promoted a deeper and enriched understanding of the both the history of photography and the fine and applied arts expressed in the fields of fashion and lifestyle of the 20th century. In presentations and lecture series around the world, areas of artistic concern have been critically explored and promoted across cultural borders, leading to the cross pollination of creative insights, and the development of new international projects
