FORGIA DI BOLLATE

FDB acronym for Forgia di Bollate has a long-lasting tradition in open-die forging and heat treatment of steels, with special regards to the production of square section and shaped rings of steel and non-ferrous alloys. The company was founded in Bollate back in 1961. In order to fulfill market needs and increase the production capacity, Rho plant was incorporated in 2003. The new headquarter is today located in Canneto sullOglio, a green field plan started in 2010 and equipped with state of the art machineries representing a benchmark in the worldwide rolling sector. Over the years the company has driven its strategic investments gaining a leadership in the technology and production of rings. FDB is equipped with 18 furnaces up to 100tons capacity, 4 rolling facilities, 4 manipulators and 5 presses, having one of the biggest hydraulic press in the world with 200.000 KN capacity.
