The Forty-Niner Shops is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that has been serving the campus community since 1953. Comprised of the University Bookstore and Art Store, Campus Dining Services and Convenience Stores, the ID Card Services Office, and the Beach on 2nd Street store, our mission is to enhance and support the educational process of California State University, Long Beach by providing goods and services to promote a learning community; by training student employees with life and career skills; and by funding scholarships, internships, and other programs that promote student success
