For over 10 years, Francais langue daccueil has been welcoming non-French speaking asylum seekers and refugees, both men and women, who have come from far away. The objective is to transmit the French language and culture which, in turn, will enable them to feel at home and become autonomous in their daily lives in France. Every year more than 700 people are welcomed and benefit from 60 000 hours of learning in the French classes, socioprofessional insertion workshops and sociocultural activities. 160 volunteers and a small team of salaried staff ensure the overall organisation of all these activities
