The campus is located in the heart of Gonzales, the largest town in Ascension Parish, one of the fastest growing parishes in the state. Located only 2.5 miles off of I-10, the campus is centrally located to acute care and rehabilitation hospitals, physician offices, churches, law enforcement, city government offices. Francois Bend offers assistance to seniors who want to maintain independence but need extra support. All apartments are licensed for assisted living so residents can remain in the same apartment when more assistance is required. There are several levels of assistance with activities of daily living plus dedicated memory care. The Francois Bend team believes that by offering 24 hour nursing, in-house physical therapy and an in-house medication program, we are addressing the void that can exist between hospital-level care and nursing homes.
