There are 663 million people in the world without access to safe drinking water. More than 1 in 10 of these people (77 million) live in India. Frank Water is two organisations that share a single vision: a global water system that can provide everyone, everywhere with access to enough, good-quality water to sustain their livelihoods, protect their health, and unlock their potential, which conserves the environment and, at the same time, maintains peace and political stability. Our approach goes beyond traditional interventions like digging wells and installing taps. We focus on solving complex problems to create long-lasting and systemic change, needed for a water-secure world. Since 2005, Frank Water has reached over 500,000 people in India, Nepal, and Kenya, and in the UK, we educate to inspire sustainable responsible water usage.
