FREE STYLE, Inc. was established in 2006, as a Nagoya-based IT company under the corporate philosophy of Pay it forward. With over 200 team members working across Japan, we specialize in providing comprehensive IT solutions. The game department was started in 2014 searching to find peoples enjoyment through our games. We also do work-for-hire projects for games. The development of OBAKEIDORO! started for the sole purpose of exhibiting at a local gaming event. Our aim was simply to bring enjoyment to people of all ages with our creation. Therefore, there was no intention to commercialize it back then, but it was a great success that countless attendees waited to play. The long waiting line for OBAKEIDORO! caught the attention of a Nintendo employee, as Nintendo happened to have a booth nearby ours.
