Freedom for Immigrants is devoted to abolishing immigration detention, while ending the isolation of people currently suffering in this profit-driven system. We visit and monitor 69 immigrant prisons and jails, We monitor, document and report abuse through our network of visitation groups who provide a community presence inside 69 immigrant prisons and jails. We run a national abuse documentation hotline, receiving over 40,000 calls from detention per year.
