I paint landscapes, in oils, and exhibit around the UK. The coast is the primary inspiration for my painting, and I spend as much time there as possible. My work is an amalgamation of elements a visual memory of a place, an emotional memory of a time, the stories and narratives trailing through my head. Sometimes this pushes my work further into symbolic abstraction, although there is always an horizon and recognizable landscape. I work in oils, on high quality canvas.
