Founded in 1980, Freisenbruch is proud to have developed into Bermudas largest local insurance intermediary offering a range of insurance products. In June, 2002, our organization entered into an exciting new phase of its development with the introduction of ACE as a partner and the resultant establishment of Bermudas newest local insurer, Freisenbruch-Meyer Insurance Limited (FMIL). Chubb, formerly known as ACE Bermuda Insurance Ltd. (ACE Bermuda), a subsidiary of ACE Limited, acquired a 40% equity interest in both Freisenbruch-Meyer Insurance Services Ltd (FMIS) and FMIL. In October 2005, we were pleased to enter into a business relationship with Butterfield Bank, providing their clients with access to our quality products and services.
