Since our inception, Friendship Senior Options has had a keen focus on evolving the services available for seniors. Weve innovated the Continuing Care Retirement Community model in the Chicagoland area. Friendship Senior Options was formed in 2005 to oversee all of the growth and innovation associated with our existing communities. Friendship Village of Schaumburg has been at the forefront of the industry since it was established 36 years ago. It was the first Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in the area to introduce assisted living. It was the first CCRC in Illinois to be certified by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission-Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CCAC-CARF).
