FRS Helgoline services the connection with Germanys only offshore island, Heligoland, since 1984. The HSC Halunder Jet is the fastest vessel to Heligoland and the only high-speed catamaran to this destination. The catamaran connects Hamburg, Wedel and Cuxhaven with the islands port every day between April and October. FRS Helgoline is the market leader in ferry rides to Heligoland with 186,000 passengers annually. The Heligoland route will receive a new catamaran beginning sailing season 2018. The 56.4 m long newbuilding which is an absolute premium product has been especially designed for the Heligoland traffic and can carry up to 692 passengers who can look forward to the generous sundecks.
