Fundacion Pasqual Maragall

At the Pasqual Maragall Foundation we are working towards a future without Alzheimers. Our research focuses on how to stop this disease and prevent its progress before the onset of symptoms, given that any damage it causes in the brain begins decades before the disease manifests itself. We also help to improve the lives of people with the disease and their families by offering therapy groups for caregivers. The Foundation also works to raise the publics awareness on the effects and consequences of Alzheimers and to obtain support for scientific research in this field - the only strategy that will provide us with solutions to these challenges.
