FUNVESA have redesigned its business concept from a casting supplier foundry to a wear solution provider for the mining and aggregate industry. Moving away from commodities towards value added services, it combined products and with cutting edge engineering services. High technical specialization became mandatory to generate profound changes on the product and the production processes. Field service and technical assessment are essentials to redesign products to last longer or increase performance. For our foundry to be set apart our products had to reach higher value recognition applying tools and technology such as process simulation softwares to optimize communication processes. The 3D scanning hardware was implemented for reverse engineering and provides fast and accurate drawings, as part of our field service.
