Futon Company began life in 1980 and has been supplying quality futons and small space living furniture for over 39 years... and not just in the UK. Over the years weve exported to almost every European country. Ever since the start, weve been a small British company specialising in innovative space saving furniture, unique textiles and ingenious accessories. Almost all of it is designed in house, or by designers we have come to know over the years. As new dwellings grow smaller we have become ever more focused on being the experts in small space living. The futon mattresses are still made by hand in our London workshop, and todays futon is a far cry from the original 100% organic cotton version.
