Future Agriculture Leaders of India

FALI is rooted in the Action Platforms research which indicates that most children and their parents do not want the next generation to go into agriculture, largely because they see it as an unpromising activity, based upon the experience of Indias many small and marginal farmers. FALI aims to both turn around the perception of students and their parents and prepares young people to succeed in modern farming and agro-enterprise. FALI, with full-time management and Agriculture Educators, operating under the supervision of the Action Platform to create shared value in agribusiness, was piloted in six government-aided rural schools of Maharashtra from November 2014 to April 2015. FALI was incorporated as a Section 25 company- Association for Future Agriculture Leaders of India on January 8, 2021.
