Future Dreams Breast Cancer charity has three main aims: Support Awareness Research The charity, founded in 2008 by Sylvie and Danielle Henry, has worked tirelessly to ensure that more people are aware of breast cancer and that no-one should have to go through breast cancer alone. It has raised over 7.6m to date and in excess of 2m has been applied to research into breast cancer. 1 in 7 women in the UK will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetimes. It is estimated that there is a diagnosis of breast cancer every ten minutes. Future Dreams wants to ensure that checking for signs of breast cancer becomes second nature. Generally, the earlier the diagnosis, the better the outcome. Future Dreams Breast Cancer Charity has a number of initiatives to help support those touched by breast cancer.
