G & J Peck Ltd

G & J Peck Ltd is an employee owned agricultural machinery distributor operating from six depots. Two depots in Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, one depot in Norfolk and the latest addition based in Suffolk. The company was founded in 1846 by father and son, George and John Peck who set up a blacksmith and ironmonger business in Ely, Cambridgeshire, where the companys head office remains based today. With the development in farm machinery, the business expanded to include sales, parts and service of agricultural machinery and equipment. In 1987, the Ramsey St Marys, Cambridgeshire depot was opened followed by Mareham-le-Fen, Lincolnshire depot in January 1999. Due to the companys substantial growth between 1999 and 2006 and the addition of the Pecks AgriTrac division operating with the CASE IH franchise new purpose built premises were built at Pinchbeck near Spalding, Lincolnshire.
