Galala University was inaugurated in 2020 in accordance with a presidential decree issued by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The university is located in the city of Al Galala in the Governorate of Suez. The university accommodates 25,000 students. The university also includes a teaching hospital as well as a dormitory for students and faculty members, in addition to the transportation service provided for the students as well as the staff members.
