Galleri F 15

GALLERI F 15 was founded in 1966 and is one of Norways oldest and most prestigious exhibition venues for Norwegian and Nordic crafts and contemporary art. The unique nature of the gallery lies in the distinctive combination of the art and the architecture of the site on a 19th-century estate situated in a historic landscape. The gallerys artistic profile is experimental and exploratory and produces socially relevant exhibitions. Through partnerships with local and international stakeholders in the arts and culture, a targeted effort is made to ensure topicality and engagement with a wide audience. Galleri F 15 produces publications and organises meetings with artists and provides a programme of family activities as part of its exhibitions. The Momentum Biennial was initially held in 1998 and is one of the oldest and most important venues exhibiting contemporary art in the Nordic countries.
