GastroIntestinal Endoscopy

GastroIntestinal Endoscopy (also known as GIE) is a group of six specialist Gastroenterologists. Since 1985, GastroIntestinal Endoscopy has been providing an efficient Open Access service for colonoscopy and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. With the Open Access or direct referral system, the patient is referred by the patients GP or specialist for a procedure without consultation with a Gastroenterologist. The patient must be generally healthy and between the ages of 16-85 years to access this system. Patients have rapid access to a procedure, usually within 1-2 weeks and urgent cases can be seen sooner. No consultation fee is charged.
