GC Polyols

GC Polyols Company Limited has been registered since 2nd June, 2017 for a purpose of operating the business of Polyols & PU system. The company was established as a joint venture by PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), Sanyo Chemical Industries, Ltd. (SCI) and Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC) under a Joint Venture Agreement. GC holds 82.1% of the company shares, while SCI holds 14.9% and TTC holds 3%. The formation of GC Polyols is an important step for the petrochemical business in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), Thailands special economic zone, Thailand 4.0 initiative. GC Polyols leverages shareholders strategic positions in penetrating high value-added performance chemicals, thus enabling not only growth opportunities but also increase competitive advantages in the fast-growing markets in South East Asia and India.
