Genting Oil Kasuri Pte. Ltd (GOKPL) is a company in the energy sector which is a subsidiary of the Genting Group, a leading multinational company in Malaysia. Genting Group is carrying out major expansion in the energy sector, especially oil and gas through the Genting Oil & Gas company which operates in China and Indonesia. GOKPL is located in Teluk Bintuni and Fakfak districts, West Papua. Indonesian Government awarded GOKPL to operate Kasuri Working Area on May 27 2008. From 2008 to 2015, GOKPL had been drilling at 10 exploration wells and processing 2D and 3D seismic acquisitions. On February 8, 2023, revision of POD 1 was approved to develop Asap, Kido, and Merah Fields. AKM Field development will be carried out in 4 stages. Gas will be produced in Q4 2025 for Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) and Q1 2028 for Ammonia and Urea (Amurea) Plant
