Our mission is to inspire, embrace, and empower Latinas to pursue and thrive in careers in Earth and Planetary Sciences. To achieve our mission, our objectives are: Promote, welcome, and empower the work and research of Latina women in Geosciences and Planetary Sciences. Provide tools to help GeoLatinas succeed at all stages of their careers. Inspire future generations of Latin Americans to pursue careers in Geosciences and Planetary Sciences. Foster curiosity in Latin Americans interested in Geosciences and planetary sciences. Distribute information on education and job opportunities for Latin Americans in Geosciences and Planetary Sciences. Close the cultural and linguistic gap that exists between Latin Americans and opportunities in Geosciences and Planetary Sciences.
