Georgia State-wide Business Court

The Georgia State-wide Business Court is the first new statewide class of court created under the States Constitution in more than a century. The Court has specific, statutorily-prescribed subject matter jurisdiction over a broad range of business disputes and an amount-in-controversy requirement of $500,000, which applies to all but one category of disputes (i.e., those that relate to commercial real estate).
