Gerardi S.p.A. Co. was established by Ivano Gerardi Sr. in 1971 with a background of 20 years experience in all kinds of machine shop throughout Canada and U.S.A. The company started as subcontractor surface grinding specialzing in precision guideways. After 2 years due to the down market situation the company developed the product which has given it international worldwide success: the Precision steel modular vise. Today the Company is the largest Italian vise manufacturer, one of the leaders in Europe and the quality of its products and solutions have been developed and known all over the world. The company has recently moved into a new 4.000 m2 building (roughly 44.000 square feet) of which 1.500 (16.500) of offices spaces in close proximity to the new Milan Intercontinental Airport Malpensa 2000.
