German Energy Academy in Jordan

German Energy Academy in Jordan is an educational institution established under cooperation between governments in Germany and Jordan, focused on capacity building in renewable and energy efficient energy infrastructure in the region. The Academy aims to train technicians and engineers in planning, installation and operational management skills, as well as general skills such as entrepreneurship, digital skills and languages. The Academy based in Amman welcomes trainees from Jordan and neighbouring countries, while establishing and operation of the Academy is shared among eight partners: Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU), German Jordanian University (GJU), National Electric Power Companys Electrical Training Center (ETC), Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI), ideas into energy, German Solar Industry Association (BSW-Solar) and Niuversity.
