Ghaf School

The name of the school is derived from the Ghaf Tree which has been declared as the national tree of the UAE. This tree is a drought-tolerant, evergreen tree that is native to the desert and thus is a resilient plant. It links into the theme of the Year 2019, which is Tolerance; as it is seen as natures symbol of tolerance. Resilience and tolerance are two moral values among others that we encourage our students to develop throughout their time at GPS.
