Gham Power is a Solar company based in Kathmandu, Nepal. Established in 2010, we have carried out over 4,000 projects with a cumulative installed capacity of over 5.8 MW. We are the first company to venture into the rural energy sector and the first to introduce pay-as-you-go services in the energy market. 7 out of the 28 million people in Nepal live without access to electricity, mostly in rural, subsistence farming communities. They use kerosene, firewood, and diesel for energy, paying costs as high as $5/kWh. Clean and affordable energy can significantly help increase local income by enabling agro-processing and irrigation, and basic services for health, education, and communication.
