Ghella Abergeldie Joint Venture (GAJV)

Ghella Abergeldie Joint Venture (GAJV) is the delivery team building Watercares Central Interceptor. The Central Interceptor is New Zealands largest ever Wastewater Project. We will be delivering close to 20km of tunnels, more than 17 shafts, a major pump station and substantial wastewater management and network infrastructure works. The Central Interceptor will run underground from Western Springs, near the Auckland Zoo, to Watercares Mangere Wastewater Treatment Plant. GAJV combines more than 30 years of tunnelling expertise in New Zealand with over 150 years of Italian and international tunnelling experience and ability, to ensure the utmost skill and competence in the delivery of this landmark project.
