Alessandro Gherardis passion for shirts dates back to the early Seventies immediately after his baccalaureate, when he started earning his life in beloved Pieve Santo Stefano, the small Tuscan village near Arezzo where he was born, amongst the woods and the nearby source of Tiber river. The son of a woodsman, Alessandro Gherardi is wild at heart like his land. He still loves seeking mushrooms with his dog, staying at home, looking after his large garden, tasting the good local wine. Simple, but very important values of a man travelling all around the world, from Italy to Europe, from USA to Korea and Japan. An enlightened entrepreneur holding tough the bond with his roots to make the trial to come stronger.
