About Us

Gibbston Valley Winery is a family-owned, boutique producer of award-winning, premium Central Otago wines including some that are certified organic. The winery is located in the South Island of New Zealand, about a 25-minute drive from Queenstown, and is home to a gourmet restaurant, cellar door tasting room, bike centre and New Zealands largest wine cave, open daily for tours and wine tasting. The winerys restaurant, cellar door and wine cave are all available for hire for weddings, corporate functions and other special events. The winery produces several different ranges of wines including Gold River, Gibbston Valley, Single Vineyard and Reserve. Each range features a mix of Central Otago-style wines that have been handcrafted using traditional winemaking techniques to showcase each varietal in its purest form.
