Gifted Student Center - Benghazi

The Gifted Student Center institute (previously known as Al-Fateh Center for Gifted Students) was found in 1993. It is a public school located in Benghazi, eastern Libya. The center gathers students from several levels ranging from the second grade of preparatory school to the third grade of the secondary school of both genders in its classes. In Libya, this school was the first of its kind and the only one so far as it specializes in educating only the gifted and the intelligent students. The centers name was changed from Al-Fateh Center for Gifted Students to Gifted Student Center after the Libyan revolution in 2011. Although it is a public school, the center can be distinguished from other public schools in the country by the presence of a carefully organized mechanism for selecting potential students.
