At GIPSIL, were committed to helping young people and families in the most disadvantaged communities in Leeds to develop and realise their potential through housing provision, advice services and well-being/counselling support. We are an originally grass-roots organisation that developed out of the Gipton community in 1992 and although we now work more city-wide, Gipton remains an important base for us with our main offices situated in the Old Fire Station (a building destined for demolition that we helped to save and transform into a community hub). We lead (and work with different partners) on a number of contracted services within Leeds.
