The expert voice of girls education, enabling girls and their teachers to flourish. The GSA provides membership support to girls schools. The Girls Schools Association encourages the highest standards of education, pastoral care and co-curricular activity, and our schools provide a wealth of extra-curricular opportunities in art, music, drama, sport and more. Our members share experience, specialisms, opportunities and facilities with state sector schools in a wide range of partnerships. Many also provide means-tested bursaries for families of limited financial means. We highlight the benefits of being taught in a predominantly girls-only environment, helping to inform and influence the national educational debate and providing the teachers in our schools with a wide range of professional development activities and opportunities to share best practice.
