Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP)

The Global Network of Women Peacebuilders is a coalition of over 100 women and youth-led organizations from more than 50 countries across Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America, Eastern, and Western Europe, the Middle East, and the Arab worldmostly in conflict-affected countriesthat are actively involved in advocacy and action for the full and effective implementation of the UN Security Council Resolutions (UNSCR) on Women and Peace and Security (WPS), Youth and Peace and Security (YPS), Sustaining Peace, Gender-responsive Humanitarian Action, and 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. These international laws and policies call on governments, the UN, regional intergovernmental organizations, and other actors to guarantee womens rights to participate in decision-making on peace and security matters.
