GWDs mission is to place credible worker data at the center of efforts to build responsible and sustainable global value chains. We generate credible data on labor conditions in global value chains by building direct, trusted, and independent channels of communication with workers. This approach builds a reliable Channel of Communication between workers and other stakeholders, which, taken together, lead to accurate, timely, and previously undisclosed information about the realities of the lives of low-income workers in global value chains
