After the independence of Bangladesh, Globe Securities Ltd , a Corporate Member of Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd. (the prime bourse of Bangladesh) under Membership no.189, has started its journey in December26 of 1980 as Azizur Rahman , later on March 11, 1995 the name was revised to M/S Azizur Rahman & Co as it was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1994. Again on August 30, 1998 M/S Azizur Rahman & Co under special resolution changed to Globe Securities Ltd and was certified by the Registrar of the Joint Stock Companies of Bangladesh. Mr. Azizur Rahman has been appointed the Managing Director / CEO of the company till date. In relation with the business, Globe Securities Ltd. obtained the Stock Dealer registration certificate bearing no. Reg. 3.1/ DSE-189/ 2000/ 059, issued on 25-04-2000 to deal in shares and securities business of its own and Stock Broker (as the SEC amended the regulation) registration certificate bearing no.
