GM Sugars, a leading player in the Indian sugar industry. The company operates two advanced sugar manufacturing facilities, each dedicated to producing high-quality sugar and contributing to sustainable energy production. Sangur Plant: Located in Sangur, this facility has a production capacity of 5,000 tons of sugar per day and includes an 18 MW power plant. Initially leased from KSSK, GM Sugars has significantly upgraded the Sangur plant to better serve the local farming community by providing reliable market access and support. Kirigere Plant: Established in 2023 under the Ethanol Blending Programme (EBP), the Kirigere plant is a state-of-the-art facility designed to bolster ethanol production and support agricultural development. With a daily sugar production capacity of 10,000 tons, a 32 MW power plant, and a 510 KLPD (kiloliters per day) ethanol plant, this facility supplies ethanol to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) and helps farmers improve their crop yields and profitability
