Goethe-Zentrum Coimbatore

The Goethe-Zentrum Coimbatore is a part of the Coimbatore Indo German Cultural Association (CIGCA). The main aim of the Goethe-Zentrum is promoting the German Language and Culture in and around Coimbatore. This centre works in strict alignment with the Goethe-Institut while planning and executing the German language courses and examinations. The Goethe-Zentrum, Coimbatore (started in September 2007), offers language courses, organizes cultural events and has a German Resource Centre. The Goethe-Zentrum functions as a unit of the Coimbatore Indo-German Cultural Association founded by the G D Group, Coimbatore. The mission of the association is to bring about a cultural understanding between the people of the two countries through a host of programmes in the fields of music, literature, theater and other art forms, in addition to the language.
