Gordon Jewelers

Gordon Jewelers was established in 1946 by Edward and Maxine Gordon in Kansas City. Edward found his skills for watch and clock repair when he joined the service during WW2. The original store was on Troost downtown, until 1965 when they picked it up and moved it to Boonville, Missouri. Dale and Roz met in Kansas City, when Dale was an air traffic controller and Roz was a flight attendant. After traveling around a bit, they settled in Boonville and took over Gordon Jewelers in 1982. Dale became a bench jeweler and Roz became the vibrant front-of-the-store personality everyone knows and loves. In 2023, Mark and Sheila moved back from Dallas where Mark ran a home automation business and Sheila was a sales engineer for a software company. They took over the business in the summer, and are continuing the Gordon name 75+ years later.
