The Athletic Director supervises all, interscholastic athletic and physical education/athletic/sports related programs and their respective staff. Responsibilities 1) Recruits, assists in selecting and training, supervises and evaluates the coaching staff. 2) In cooperation with the coaching staff, develops the competitive schedule for boys and girls in the interscholastic athletic programs at the Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Modified levels. 3) In cooperation with the staff and Building Administrators, develops a budget for the total program and assumes responsibility for implementing the budget, including supervision and responsibility for the evaluation and purchase of all supplies and equipment. 4) In cooperation with the staff and Building Administrators, supervises and conducts athletic events, assuming overall responsibility for finances, officials, transportation, crowd control chaperones and security staff, and other related matters. 5) Collaborates with t...
