Institute of Forensic Science (IFSc) has started its operations in the premises of Institute of Science, Nagpur. The Institute of Science, A Center with Potential for Excellence and A Jewel in a Crown is centrally located in the prestigious Civil Lines area of Nagpur. It is recognised as a shining beacon in science education since its establishment in 1906. The erst while Victoria Technical Institute, a symbol of British contemporary architecture of 1926, enjoyed worthy growth and rendered yeoman service to propagating science which was elevated in status and rechristened as the Institute of Science in 1966. The magnificent building has been designated as Heritage building. An imaginative mix of grandeur and colourful art make for a very attractive facility.
