The Government of Karnataka has established 28 GTTC Centres all over Karnataka and a skill development center. GTTC Hubli has trained more than 50,000 candidates in various Diploma and Short Term Skill Development Training Programs. GTTC graduates have underlined their presence around the world in various domains like Tool & Die makers, Tool Designers, CNC programmers and Mechatronics and Electronics Technicians, IT skills, Digital Marketing, and much more. Diploma graduates of GTTC due to their excellence in skill are most sought after in countries such as Australia, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, etc. GTTC has many firsts to its credit in precision manufacturing. It was the first to establish the production of Heart valves, manufacture of an import substitute, SUNSHIELD for ISRO, dies for COCO COLA Bottles, Fire Extinguisher Bottle for ADA and HAL, and complicated castings for the Automotive sector.
