Grail Family Services (GFS)

Grail Family Services strengthens family capacity to support young childrens positive educational outcomes and to build a thriving community. We create a strong start for children - from birth - by 1) providing direct services that support the healthy development of children ages 0-9 years; 2) providing parents with the tools, knowledge and skills to support their childrens success in school and in life; and 3) providing training and support to child care providers and teachers who work directly with children ages 0-9 years. We serve approximately 2000 parents and children annually at our Family Resource Center and in 7 elementary schools in the Alum Rock Union School District (ARUSD). We serve an additional 2000 families indirectly through our Building Blocks of ParentingTM messages and our Family Engagement Professional Development program.
