Granite Ridge

Our Past: Built in 1868 as the St. Marys Seminary, the site was the home of the Redemptorist Fathers. The campus was acquired in 1991 as a satellite site for Mercyhurst College, a two-year Catholic liberal arts school. We stand on tradition. Our Present: Granite Ridge offers a versatile backdrop for events of every type, from weddings and social celebrations to corporate functions, sports camps and competitions, performance arts shows, and film shoots. The campus is situated on a crest, a natural high ground. To the north is the low-lying coastal plain and Lake Erie, and to the south lies the small idyllic town of North East nestled in a shallow valley. North East rises above the grape vineyards, the oldest and largest Concord grape-growing region in the world, stretching from western Pennsylvania through western New York along Lake Erie, centrally located to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Buffalo.
