Grassroots Reconciliation Group

Founded in March 2007, the Grassroots Reconciliation Group (GRG) organizes innovative peacebuilding & livelihood projects for former child soldiers, refugees, and host communities. The groups build relationships and work hand-in-hand on livelihood projects that they design themselves, including organic farming, entrepreneurship and small business development, microfinance, trauma counseling, community theater, and animal husbandry. By supporting these projects, we support the long-term rehabilitation, reconciliation, and economic capacity of the war-weary people of northern Uganda
