Put simply it means we are a flying Emergency Department transporting a Specialist Paramedic in Critical Care and a Consultant Doctor to the scene of an incident or medical emergency. The GWAAC Critical Care Team cover Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire and parts of Wiltshire. A population of 2.1 million people.
